In a contemporary form, the actors deal with themes from Calderon de la Barca’s baroque world theater with its rigid, hierarchically ordered role assignments. King, rich man, farmer, beggar, beauty and reason are complemented by contemporary allegories such as science, craftsmen, artists and security.
An attempt by the “ordinary people” to make today’s world and space images tangible in a dialogic, humorous and questioning way.
The play was staged by Reinhold Tritscher.
