International cartoonists draw with a pointed pen on the subject of climate change and climate justice. The exhibition in the Schlossmuseum Linz presents works by cartoonists who deal critically and humorously with society and make grievances visible and understandable.

The first KAKTUS CARTOON AWARD is dedicated to the topics CLIMATE CHANGE and CLIMATE JUSTICE.

The best works from 500 artists from over 80 countries were selected by a prickly jury, including Gerhard Haderer (cartoonist and founder of the School of Disobedience), Eva Jandl-Jörg (director of the Wilhelm Busch Museum), Kak (cartoonist and president of Cartooning for Peace ), Stefanie Sargnagel (author and cartoonist), Katharina Rogenhofer (climate activist and author), Achim Frenz (director of the Caricatura Museum Frankfurt), Gottfried Gusenbauer (director of Karikaturmuseum Krems) and Michaela Krömer (lawyer and founder of CLAW – Initiative for Climate Law).
