The Erzberg is calling. At the beginning of the 20th century, he also called many women who worked in shifts from 1912 to 1976 in sorting and picking plants on the Erzberg: the so-called Klauber women.
Today the last traces of the Klaubanlagen have disappeared. But the memory of the hard physical work and of a community of workers characterized by cohesion and mutual support remains. A tribute that brings memories back to life.
The exhibition brings the era of the Klauber women back to life and presents interesting facts about the history of mining on the Erzberg. In addition, contemporary witnesses have their say in a very personal way. The exhibition was curated by Karin Hojak-Talaber, the exhibition designers are Annabell Spötl and Sigrid Bürstmayr.
