The international open-air architecture film festival presents documentaries, short films and experimental films on the topic of “Re-Learning Architecture. On Unlearning and Relearning Architecture”.
Affordability, recyclability and a radical decarbonization in the construction industry will significantly change the form and practice of architecture in the future. With this much-needed construction shift, is it time to relearn, teach, and practice architecture? What role do users, architects and planners play in a systemic change in architecture and urbanism? Are we building yesterday’s misjudgments today? Should we still build at all?
The open-air festival invites film and architecture enthusiasts to linger and exchange ideas. The festival was curated by Lene Benz and Marlene Rutzendorfer in cooperation with wonderland – platform for european architecture and the MuseumsQuartier Vienna.
