Vienna is once again the centre of the now legendary SLASH film festival. The most fantastic, eerie and strange cinematic capers of contemporary genre cinema are presented in three cinemas. Rarely before have so many bizarre, unbounded and grotesque works been discovered in the selection of around 80 feature-length and short films as in this year’s festival edition. In the presence of top-class film guests, such as director Brandon Cronenberg and cinematographer Karim Hussain or acting legend Michael Ironside, SLASH invites you to 11 days of ecstatic escapism in the unholy halls of cinema.
