Everyday life in the Czech Republic and Slovakia is the focus of “Open Territory”. Seven different documentary photographic approaches are exhibited.
While the assembled groups of works primarily consist of observation and documentation of the outside world, their styles, perspectives and the core of their artistic methods can be assigned to a surrealist tradition that continues to have an impact from the time of the Czech avant-garde to the present day.
On display are works by Libor Fojtík, Jana Ilková, Martin Kollar, Ema Lančaričová, Lucia Nimcová, Ivana Palečková and Daniel Šperl.
