Belinda Winkler has been working and experimenting with handicraft and textile techniques since her childhood in order to process and express great emotions. Her projects deal with intimacy, physicality and family.
In the project “ent|bin|den”, she approaches the complex topic of different bonds both personally and on a meta-level and aims to transfer the abstract concept of bonding into artistic practice. Attachment, division and separation are to be treated from different perspectives and open up a multi-layered spectrum.
Spaces are interactively and collectively connected as well as separated. This creates a three-dimensional, dynamic network that constitutes a reflection on bonds and their dissolution.
