The two artists Iris Christine Aue and Hannah Winkelbauer share an interest in the medium of drawing and an attentive look behind the surface of everyday life. In their first joint presentation at Kubin-Haus Zwickledt, they are showing a selection of recent works that subtly draw attention to themes such as threat and transience with naturalistic precision and subtle colouring. For Iris Christine Aue, her drawings and watercolours are the basis for a creative process that consists of cutting them up into cut-outs and assembling them with needle and thread. Hannah Winkelbauer focuses her attention on unwelcome found objects or unnoticed traces that reflect everyday life.
