What began as the “Long Night of Storytellers” with Jewish storytellers in all provincial capitals has developed into one of the world’s most important, Europe’s largest and Austria’s only “Festival of the Narrative Arts”.
Under the direction of Tessa Erker-Tegetthoff, the Austrian International Storytelling Festival takes place for three weeks in Styria (Graz, Weiz, Bruck an der Mur & Bad Radkersburg) and Lower Austria (Bad Schönau).
A total of 80 events are on offer, including the pre-festival programme “The School of Listening”, featuring over 30 artists from all over the world.
