32 artistic positions from the Schaumbad studios are brought together in the current “SURFER” exhibition. The exhibition includes not only drawings, sculptures, installation elements and paintings, but also fabric artworks. Kolb combines the multi-layered works in both colourful and monochromatic systems. The works float around and on specially developed rafts. Like a miniature bubble bath, they function as habitats to move through the currents, whirlpools and thus challenges of our present.
