The themes of Elisabeth Moser’s works revolve around the systematic order in the apparent chaos of nature and the longing of people to reflect this order in their work, or at best in their own lives. Her prints are complex colour linocuts in small formats and small editions. A parallel group of works in the reverse glass paintings is created from spontaneous movement, brushstrokes and drip marks, which in turn, when successful, reveal a lively order in the chaos.
