The summer exhibition “echo*” combines the artistic practices of Vietnamese-born Sung Tieu and Austrian artist Martin Beck. This joint presentation creates a space in which the resonance of sound meets the solidity of the institutional structure. A key element of the exhibition is a collaborative sound environment that envelops the space of the Kunstverein. Tieu and Beck also explore the life cycle of materials that construct our environment, fuelling the dynamic between repetition and renewal.
