Experience Africa in the centre of Graz: the CHIALA Africa Festival has been an integral part of the Graz Summer of Culture for years. To the sounds of national and international artists, a communal and respectful atmosphere is created in which the most diverse people from Africa and Europe can celebrate and enjoy themselves together.
In addition to workshops that invite visitors to move, think and be creative, there is also a children’s programme, a fashion show, a drumming workshop, the annual bazaar with numerous stalls for strolling, browsing and gathering information, as well as a culinary journey through Africa.
