The Science meets Fiction Festival sees its task as bringing together concepts of the future and scientific findings. This year’s motto is ‘Future Intelligence’. Science fiction breaks the boundaries of space and time that realistic narratives are subject to. It is precisely through this expansion of the narrative space of possibility, through the difference to the present, that science fiction can raise questions that are important for us here and now. Future Intelligence. Our future with A.I. is the common theme of all contributions to Science meets Fiction 2024, where fictional visions of the future and scientific findings will be juxtaposed in numerous events.
