Florian Koneczny works with found material (photographs from books, archives or private collections) from post-war Salzburg and translates them into his painterly formal language. Laura Krok photographs so-called ‘happy places’ in Salzburg with a camera or her mobile phone. Despite their positive attribution, there is nevertheless a sense of gloom. Together, the different positions provide insights into the city of Salzburg and open up new perspectives on familiar places.
