Beat Furrer’s Begehren, considered one of the most important and influential works in contemporary music theatre, has been part of Cantando Admont’s repertoire since 2018 and has since been performed at venues including the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Wien Modern, the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Lucerne Festival and the Salzburg Festival. In 2025, the ensemble will also give the French premiere in Paris – a strong sign of its international appeal. Cantando Admont will perform this year in Trieste (17/18 October), Munich (24/25 October), Dortmund (1 November), at the Azores Festival and on 3 December in Paris: with the concert version of Begehren.
