The collective exhibition outlines spaces between transience on all levels and being in all forms. In OUT OF THE DARK – INTO FREEDOM, these aesthetically sophisticated photographs from 2022, alongside other works by Lotte Hubmann, are elevated to something extraordinary – a shared perception of the realities of life. These harmonise in visual resonance with the live performance by Theater Feuerblau, the accompanying music by Berndt Luef, the stylish lighting design by Christina Bergner, and the two video installations by Annette Stosch. The works use photography, graphic expression, movement and stillness as their main medium. The intangible becomes tangible, because darkness is not perceived as a limiting element. It is darkness that unites everything and thus enables us to step into freedom and light at the same moment.
