Under the title BETWEEN BLOSSOMS, NATURE AND FORM, the artforum gallery presents a selection of works by three new members: Sana Boufous, Sonja Danner and Gundy Rettenbacher. Rettenbacher discovered her passion for painting in 1995 and honed her skills in naaumerous symposia and painting studies at various art academies. Her preferred painting techniques include watercolour, charcoal drawings, ink, acrylic, oxidation, oil and pastel chalk. Sonja Danner took up painting after a shoulder injury and the resulting change in her lifestyle – inspired by a good friend and artist and his circle. She has been painting with oil paints since September 2024. Moroccan-born Sana Boufous sees painting as a search for herself amid the noise of colours, a journey that is not yet complete.
