Lower Austrian organist and pianist Stefan Donner will give two guest concerts in Istanbul. Following a workshop with students at Boğaziçi University Istanbul, the artist will perform in the university’s concert hall, Albert Long Hall. The following evening, he will perform at Istanbul’s Crimean Memorial Church on the organ built in 1911 by W. Hill & Son, which is renowned far beyond Turkey’s borders for its high sound quality. The programmes for the two concert evenings include works by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, F.M. Bartholdy, Félix-Alexandre Guilmant, Robert Fuchs and Herbert Howells. Donner will thus present a stylistically diverse repertoire ranging from Baroque to late English Romanticism.
