In her artistic practice, Linda Lach explores themes such as recurring transmissions and intimacy through performative sculptures, installations, video works and poetry, using materials such as wood, leather, cotton, plastic and human milk. Her material gestures expand the presence and social function of sculpture and performance by focusing on atemporality, self-exploitation, and acts of brutality that exist beyond our categories of safe and threatening. Given the current political precariousness of Eastern Europe, Lach navigates the surface of ongoing symbolic dissolution in her practice and engages with the inevitable reactionary reterritorialisation of our reality.
