The Austrian Cultural Platform for the Arab World is organising a three-day online creative writing workshop led by SchreibART author Ivna Žic. Ten selected emerging writers from Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt will explore new narrative approaches and work with different perspectives. The focus is on how shifts in perspective can reveal power structures, foster empathy and bring overlooked realities of life to light. The aim is to develop more nuanced perspectives on social realities and to demonstrate how literary voices can open up new spaces for thought.
