The exhibition at the Schaumbad presents original illustrations by Roman Klug from his graphic novel *Vogelglück. The Life of the Painter Ida Maly*. For the first time, a substantial excerpt from his magnum opus – on which he has, after all, been working for over 13 years – is being presented to the public. The visual adaptation of the material, loosely based on Sophie Reyer’s play *Vogelglück*, is complemented by an additional layer: The musical drama radio play adaptation, currently in production, will allow visitors to experience the two chapters of “Vogelglück” on display through their own mobile phones and headphones.
The musical drama radio play adaptation was created with the collaboration of the following artists:
Michael Eisl, Claudia Holzer, Monika Klengel, Moke Klengel, Benjamin Klug, Roman Klug, Lothar Lässer, die Rabtaldirndln (Barbara Carli, Gudrun Maier, Rosa Degen-Faschinger und Bea Dermond), Felix Martl, Catrin Manoli alias Cooky, Luis Oliviera sowie das Ensemble Schallfeld (Elisa Azzarà, Lorenzo Derinni, Myriam García Fidalgo, Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka).
