With ‘Austrian Summer Sounds’, the Austrian Cultural Forum Warsaw is presenting a summer concert series at eight venues across Poland: Warsaw, Świdnik, Lublin, Sulęczyno, Kraków, Sopot, Supraśl and Gliwice. The programme features contemporary voices from the Austrian music scene – ranging from jazz, improvisation and modern klezmer to world music and soloistic soundscapes. A particular focus is on artists from the NASOM programme, including Helene Glüxam, Alpha Trianguli, Avin Ahmadi and Purple is the Color. The programme is complemented by Luciano Biondini & Klaus Falschlunger and the Moritz Weiß Klezmer Trio. The series combines concerts at the Kulturforum with performances at Polish partner institutions and festivals.
