Albert Mayr works at the intersection of sound, installation and media art. In his multimedia, often performative works, he explores the relationships between sound, space and perception. In his exhibition ‘How to Hide on Stage’, he presents elements from installations and performances of recent years, using them – together with the gallery’s interior – to construct a spatial installation that offers a new way of experiencing the space. Collages and drawings, which lie somewhere between notation, sketch and documentation, provide insights into the creation and realisation of his projects.
