This autumn, the Austrian Cultural Forum London is celebrating ten years of collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and Central Saint Martins in London. As part of this, graduates of the Master’s programme in Curatorial Studies from the UK are travelling to Vienna. They will select artworks by students at the Academy and then, together with works by British artists, curate an exhibition at the Austrian Cultural Forum London. Under the title “Mine is yours” Josie Sanne and Zaccaria Slater are presenting an exhibition that explores the question of what unites and divides us, and the identities that arise from this, whilst seeking to reveal the complexities of sharing. To mark the Cultural Forum’s 70th anniversary, the exhibition also features a live performance that examines how a state-run cultural institution can convey a country’s cultural identity.
