The Antichambre in the Museumsquartier presents an exhibition entitled “Six Poetical and Dialogical Strategies”. Works by the design duo Jutta Wacht and René Poell, aka Say Say, Inc. are shown. The Antichambre space functions as a space for poetic matters, according to the exhibition’s own description. The second installation from the series of “PERIODIKUM Issue I” codes deals with the symbol. Symbols are not intended to explain the mysterious context of the world rationally, but rather to point out irrationality. C.G. Jung says “when the soul explores the symbol, it is led to ideas that lie beyond the grasp of the mind”. The study of symbols is a way of looking behind things.
