Where is the best place to learn? The “longing place school” is examined: The exhibition, which was produced with the participation of Upper Austrian schools, focuses on the experiences of students: Where is the best place to learn? What does school look like today? What needs to be improved in the future? Not just since the pandemic, but increasingly, schools are something more than just spaces for learning and teaching. They are places of social interaction, places of exchange. And schools are places where a decisive part of the personality development of young people takes place. Schools shape people for life.
The perspective of the teachers is documented in a collection of photos that provide insights into various “Corona home offices” and thus reflect the special situation of the past months – especially in terms of space. Last but not least, individual school buildings are analyzed in clear building portraits, and the planners behind them and their architectural concepts are presented.
