Open the Gates!
The fourth edition of the music festival with digital concerts and live music workshops will take place this autumn. After 2020 for the second time with the support of the Austrian Cultural Forum Tehran.
Gate of Tehran is structured in two parts.
The first part offers as a program item the live music workshops, which will take place this year in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hyrkanian Forest in the Iranian province of Gilan. The speakers are a total of 17 international musicians, including the Austrian composers Klaus Lange, Peter Ablinger and Renald. This year’s main topic is the interaction of nature and music.
The second part will take place from November 15. These three weeks are filled with virtual concerts.
The Gate of Tehran Festival is organized by House No. 4, an independent organization in Tehran founded in 2013 by musician Mehdi “Peter” Pirhosseinlou.
