The Theater am Saumarkt is the venue for the newly founded Schallwende Festival. On two evenings, the Viennese ensemble Reconcil presents works by Martin Gut, Günther Kirchner, Raphael Lins, Michael Neunteufel and Michael Schausberger. A central theme is music education: making new music familiar to children and young people and promoting composers as well as ensembles active in these fields is the goal of ARGE-Schallwende. In addition, the festival will also provide space for sacred, spiritually oriented new music in various facets.
