Making up-and-coming films more visible, offering a forum for up-and-coming filmmakers, presenting the the main objectives of the Juvinale are to present Salzburg as a film-producing country and to bring the cultural branch of “film” closer to younger generations. Screenings will take place on three festival days in the categories: Fiction, Documentary, Animation and Music & Clips – the best films will be honoured with the Juvinale Awards. The Juvinale 2023 will focus on the topic of gender equality. In addition to the prizes in the main categories, the “Gender and Diversity Award” will be presented for the first time this year.
