memeclassworldwide: Floating Berlin

16.03.2024 – 28.04.2024

In connection with the joint project memeclassworldwide (mcww), the collective, consisting of Ramona Kortyka, Jennifer Merlyn Scherler, Mateusz Dworczyk and Juan Blanco, has already realised various university seminars, lectures, research residencies and exhibitions in the D-A-CH region.
In a new experimental format, which can be briefly summarised as an art academy without a place, the group poses the question of the interrelationship between the personal travel experience and the digital media phenomena of the present. This includes the visual representation of tourism in different contexts, as well as the influence of digital media on travelling activities and the associated significance that only arises through these media. The results will be presented as the exhibition project mcww.voyage at the Künstlerhaus Bregenz as part of the ZUR ZEIT series.
