Marigona Kabashi’s love of plants is clearly evident when viewing her artistic work. Movement and colour dominate her works, which are predominantly chalk drawings. They do not depict anything, but rather bring to life the act of drawing or painting. Moments that blossom on paper in an inimitable way and are captured for us. Born in Kosovo in 1992, the artist lives in Ottensheim, Upper Austria, in a residential group at the Hartheim Institute and has been working in the institute’s own nursery for several years.
