Helga Philipp is regarded as a leading figure in Austrian Concrete Art and Op Art. As early as the 1960s, she developed a precise, conceptually grounded visual language that places perception and movement at the heart of her artistic practice. Her work lies at the intersection of visual experience, geometric abstraction and kinetic design, with her experimenting with mathematical principles, serial structures and interactivity. The exhibition presents around 50 of the artist’s most important works spanning several decades and showcases the diversity of her oeuvre across various media, including painting, drawing, printmaking and object art.
