Architecture Days is Austria’s largest public event dedicated to architecture and building culture. Curated and organised by Austria’s ten architectural institutions, the upcoming edition will take place under the theme ‘What Unites Us – Infrastructures of Everyday Life’. The festival is organised by the Federal Chamber and the Provincial Chambers of Civil Engineers, as well as the Austrian Architecture Foundation. The aim of the Architecture Days is to bring the diverse aspects of architecture, building culture and engineering closer to a broad public. The 2026 Architecture Days view infrastructure not merely as a technical prerequisite, but as a spatial, social and cultural fabric. The focus is on a complex network of administration, mobility, energy, landscape management, waste disposal and social and cultural institutions that underpins everyday urban life. The aim is to make these structures visible and tangible, and to convey building culture as a collaborative process.
