In *Dry Pastures*, Linda Luse explores the declining resilience of soils as a symbol of ecological fragility through ceramic objects. The works allude to overgrazing, erosion and desiccation, and bear traces of decomposition, compaction and human intervention. Material and form play with illusion: soft-looking folds meet antler-like branches; clay from excavated earth anchors the works to the ground, whilst bone ash glaze links them to agricultural practices. The exhibition unfolds a picture of geological conditions in which the soil is read as a fundamental basis of life, and its vulnerability quietly emerges in texture and form.
