With “Frau Perchta”, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw is presenting a project at Digital Dragons 2026 in Kraków that has emerged from the game “Culture Jam: Myths & Magic”, which we initiated. The game was developed as part of the initiative in partnership with the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJATK) and subsequently received targeted further support from the Cultural Forum, which drove the project forward until its presentation in Kraków. From 17 to 19 May, the Forum will have its own stand at the event, where visitors can try out the game for themselves. “Frau Perchta” draws on motifs from Austrian folklore and is now being presented at one of the most important platforms in the games industry in Poland.
