Award-winning children’s book illustrator Anna Horak is featured at this year’s Europa Ilustra exhibition with her work *Lina the Explorer*. The exhibition is on display at the Casa del Lector literary centre in Madrid. The fourth edition of Europa Ilustra, presented by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Madrid in collaboration with the Casa del Lector, brings together works by eleven illustrators from across Europe. Vienna-based Anna Horak illustrates children’s books and picture books. Her illustrations have been awarded the State Prize for Austria’s Most Beautiful Books and were shortlisted for the German Children’s Book Prize. The children’s book Lina the Explorer, illustrated by Horak, is a long-overdue educational book for young people that focuses on the non-judgemental naming of all body parts. It addresses topics such as hygiene, anatomy, menstruation and nudity in a playful and child-friendly manner
