With *The Post Office Girl* (*The Thrill of Transformation*), the Habima National Theatre is staging the first ever stage adaptation of a work by Stefan Zweig in Israeli theatre. Zweig’s unfinished novel, taken from his posthumous papers, explores social inequality, the dream of a different life and the invisible wounds of the First World War. Hanan Snir and Yotam Gotal are responsible for the direction and dramaturgy.
