The exhibition brings together works by artists with roots in Salzburg. It opens up a variety of perspectives on a seemingly familiar place. Cultural participation and curiosity are at the heart of the supporting programme – featuring special guided tours and workshops. The participating artists take very different approaches and work with a wide variety of media. What unites them is that they transcend familiar boundaries and invite visitors to go in search of clues. Associations with the image of the festival city, the Baroque World Heritage Site, and the exploration of memory and perception challenge our visual habits and perspectives.
The exhibition features works by Alexandra Baumgartner, Thomas Baumann, Jakob Buchner, EVA & ADELE, Heinrich Dunst, Günter Edlinger, Monika Fioreschy, Eva Grubinger, Alfred Haberpointner, Theresa Hattinger (design), Thomas Hörl, Thomas Nowotny, Monika Pichler, Sarah Pichlkostner, Lois Renner, Wilhelm Scheruebl, Elisabeth Schmirl, Margherita Spiluttini, Gerold Tusch and Antoinette Zwirchmayr.
