Werner Reiterer – Take a Walk on the Mind Side.
The project of the Austrian artist Werner Reiterer turns the Kunstraum Dornbirn into a sculpture/installation in public space.
The targeted sensory illusion of a real building and an illusionistic implant in real space is a characteristic and intended disturbance of our existential state striving for order, characteristic of Reiterer’s working method.
The special thing about the installation at Kunstraum Dornbirn is that it only unfolds its potential through the active actions of the visitors. You can hear pouring rain, deafening thunder and lightning can be seen through the steamed-up windows. A storm is coming down on the Kunstraum Dornbirn – but in an unusual way. The site-specific project “Locked In!” by Austrian artist Werner Reiterer turns Kunstraum Dornbirn into a sculpture/installation in public space.
