On 25 May at 07.00pm, The Base will broadcast a studio concert especially for the Austrian Cultural Forum Brussels live on Facebook.
Norbert Wally (vocals and guitar), Albrecht Klinger (vocals, guitar and bass) and Karlheinz Miklin jr. (drums, percussion and vocals) form the Graz-based band The Base. This cult band sounds like international rock and has been very productive since its formation in 1989.
Apart from recording about twenty albums, producing film music for several Austrian TV shows and films (including “Contact High” by Michael Glawogger and “Die Lebenden” by Barbara Albert), and collaborating with the Graz Jazz Orchestra, the trio has also had several appearances in performances and plays, for example with the band “Element of Crime” at the Vienna Burgtheater.
The trio opens a series of musical online contributions of the Austrian Cultural Forum Brussels.
