The University of Applied Arts Vienna invites to “alternate mode” a hybrid festival, to the annual closing of the academic year 2019/2020 and takes place online and in public space.
The Angewandte is vehemently committed to counteracting the production conditions in the art and cultural sector, which are massively restricted by the current situation, and to counteracting this. Therefore, the Angewandte Festival focuses on alternative exhibition possibilities and a hybrid form of the festival, in which parts are presented exclusively online.
In the run-up to the festival, a series of digital talks will take place, “Dialogues for tomorrow” invites artists and scientists to outline their respective views on tomorrow. The next talk will take place on 18.06.2020, from 16-16.30 on the website of the Angewandte Festival.
