The international festival “Bludenzer Tage zeitgemäßer Musik” aims to make contemporary music audible in Bludenz. Quality is emphasized here, both in the compositional field and in interpretation. The first artistic director was Georg Friedrich Haas, followed by Wolfram Schurig and Alexander Mossbrugger. Since 2014, the Italian composer, Clara Iannotta, has been responsible for the program.

Over the years, more than 100 world premieres have been heard in Bludenz. In the meantime, the festival has grown from an insider tip to an internationally respected fixture with the interested public.

This year, works by Sara Glojnaric, Kelley Sheehan, Andrea Mancianti and Joshua Mastel can be heard on the first day. The works will be interpreted by, among others, Ensemble Mosaik with Christoph Breidler, Bettina Junge, Karen Lorenz, Martin Losert, Mathis Mayr, Roland Neffe, Adrian Pereyra, Sarah Saviet, Simon Strasser, Ernst Surberg, Arne Vierck and Christian Vogel. The second day is dedicated to Giorgio Netti, l ciclo dell’assedio, (2001-2009), premiere of the integral cycle, )place(, for string quartet, rinascere sirena, for string trio, inoltre, for 2 violins and tête, for cello solo (without bow) and feed will be heard by him. The third concert will be performed by Trio Catch with Eva Boesch, Sun-Young Nam and Boglárka Pecze. Works by Beat Furrer, Jonah Haven and Daniela Terranova will be performed.
