Insights into the Tate Gallery Collection!

Kunstforum Wien is dedicating its first exhibition in 2022 to the British artist David Hockney.

Known for his swimming pool paintings, Hockney is an artist who is said to be close to Pop Art, but who gives expression to representational painting.

With “The First Marriage” (1962), “Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy” (1970-1971) and “My Parents” (1977), major works by the artist from the collection of the Tate in Great Britain travel to Vienna.

The show also focuses on David Hockney’s extensive printmaking oeuvre. Milestones of printmaking, such as the etching cycles “A Rake’s Progress” (1961-1963) and “Cavafy” (1966) will be presented.
