‘Allt är möjligt’ (Everything is possible) is Kateryna Lysovenko’s largest exhibition to date and her first solo exhibition in Scandinavia. Born in Odessa in 1989, the artist has been living and working in Vienna since 2022. Her paintings depict how experiences of war influence people and relationships across generations. Motifs from Russia’s current war against Ukraine intersect with memories of the time before the invasion, combined with references to art history, mythology and classical painting. On multiple levels, she explores how war shapes individuals and societies far beyond the actual battlefield.
