The emsiana Culture Festival in Hohenems is now celebrating its 13th anniversary under the motto “OVER COURAGE”.
Named after the historical library in the Hohenems Palace with the self-imposed task of preserving and continuing to think about leftovers, memories and cultural treasures, the emsiana is a place for exchange with guided tours, lectures, concerts, exhibitions, a family program and readings.
The cultural festival will be opened on May 4th with the flaming speech by the author Eva Menasse and the concert by the tonart Sinfonietta as well as the vernissages at 14 exhibition locations in Hohenems city centre.
Today, emsiana means immersing yourself in the relationship between history and the present for a weekend.
Thoughtful, curious, with enjoyment and pleasure.
