The examination of bodies and relationships and the reference to social and emotional conditions is a central concern of Liesl Raff.
With her latex works, Raff repeatedly creates stage-like settings. In the Remise art space, she will juxtapose latex works on the two narrow-sided walls – according to the curating artist Berchtold. The sculptural pieces, made from a mixture of elastic polymers produced from the milky sap of the rubber tree, enter into a “clinch”, as it were. Hence the exhibition title.
