In 2024, visitors with a thirst for reading can once again expect a linguistic firework display, literary experience and knowledge building. 511 contributors from 27 nations will dedicate themselves to fiction, non-fiction, crime novels, graphic novels and much more. This year, Buch Wien is making a name for itself as a knowledge festival in particular: An expanded debate programme and a new Science Lounge invite visitors to join in the research, discussions and debates. Dozens of high-calibre panel discussions will focus on three new topics: international politics & security policy, business & finance and science & technology.
