What do these heads tell us about social norms, alienation or self-discovery? How are relationships between people formed in a world characterised by constant movement and constant change? In the context of a rapidly changing society, this exhibition allows us to reflect on themes such as individualisation, isolation and information overload. The artists deal with such questions in a variety of ways in their works. The works stand as a group in the space and invite visitors to perceive themselves as part of this mass. The movements of the people change the spatial structure – sometimes the space is perceived as densely filled, sometimes as a place of fleeting passage, sometimes as a place to pause. A surveillance camera records all movements and projects them onto a wall, allowing each viewer to recognise themselves as an individual in the crowd. A sound installation consisting of sound and text fragments refers to the flood of information to which we are exposed and which passes us by in a constant juxtaposition.
