The special exhibition ‘MIST! Rethinking Textile Waste’ at the Textilen Zentrum in Haslach invites visitors to view textile scraps from a new perspective. It explains the background to various types of textile waste, presents innovative recycling ideas and showcases forward-looking examples of contemporary design that demonstrate how scraps can be transformed into valuable raw materials. Visitors can discover exciting projects by a young generation of textile designers and activists who are developing creative responses to the challenges of fast fashion, overproduction and textile production waste using new strategies.
